CPS 1.3.2, CPS9.6 places all RAs under Assurance Policy. AP3 defines the major form of RA as Assurer. "Approval" is by testing ("Challenge") and 100 Assurance Points. AP6 defers other forms of RAs to "subsidiary policies". They are policies, and are held to the same standard.
